Governor Andrew Cuomo is in trouble. Why? Because he recently stated New Yorkers who do not support his views on abortion, marriage and gun control have “no place” in the Empire State. To say the least, the Governor’s comments have backfired; there has been a firestorm of outrage and criticism, both online and in local and national media. Needless to say, New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms is not going anywhere, and we are not about to let the Governor’s remarks go unchallenged. We have sent Governor Cuomo an open letter stating that his comments were inaccurate, divisive, and insulting to millions of New Yorkers. If you agree, please take a moment to add your name to our letter. Together, we can hold Governor Cuomo accountable for his words and remind him that he was elected to serve all New Yorkers.
On Tuesday, March 18, thousands of these letters – one with your name on it – will be hand-delivered to Governor Cuomo’s office with a simple message: “Governor, don’t forget that you were elected to serve all New Yorkers, including those with whom you disagree.”
